Beautiful Seattle area Wedding Venues

Saltwater Farms is a newer barn venue in the Friday Harbor area. And while its not super easy to get to we think its worth it ! Its a great mixture of farm / rustic and modern. The property is large enough to have as many guests as you want and there is plenty of places to take photos. Here are some photos from a wedding we shot there last year with Elle & James Co. Have you ever dreamed of a secret garden inspired wedding ? Do you love flowers and want to be fully surrounded by their beauty at your wedding ? Look no further than Christianson’s Nursery in Mount Vernon. A little over an hour north of Seattle, this hidden gem resides off of a long farm road. Walking the grounds during sunset or sunrise is just a magical experience ! If your wedding is in late June or early July you will see the most roses here, and a little earlier in April it will be filled with camellias. This place is oozing with photogenic locations and the light to go with it.

Newcastle Golf club is a beautiful Seattle wedding venue located just south east of the city in Newcastle, WA. It has some of the best sunsets and views. So if golden hour photos are your goal and you have a large wedding, then this is is your venue ! It has a luxurious grand vibe. It is up on a hill with a golf course below it. The building itself has beautiful historic architecture. You can have your ceremony in a large white tent or on the patio. We have photographed so many weddings here ! But our favorite setup so far has been the ceremony on the patio and we are waiting for someone to do their dinner tables in the tent ! They also have a large ballroom for dinner as well. All of your guests will love watching to sun set and taking selfies on the patio. The bridal suite also has some really great light and a small balcony attached to it which is so nice for photography ! Looking for that Nantucket vibe in the Pacific Northwest for your wedding ? Roche Harbor Resort just might be the perfect fit for your wedding venue. We love historic venues (hands down they are our favorites) and this one has the coolest history ! Just hop on a sea plane and in 40 min your can land on a dock in front of Roche Harbor Resort. This is really a vacation and an experience for your guests. With whale watching, some of the best donuts you have ever had, and amazing sunsets over the harbor, this charming little venue is one you should say “I do” to.

As you can see, we have a thing for historic venues. This historic Seattle wedding venue had our hearts the moment we stepped in the door. It exuded old world luxury and charm and has the most beautiful details throughout. We were filled with inspiration shooting here. We do recommend going offsite for larger group photos such as bridal party or family because it is a small property located right in the middle of downtown. But if you want a smaller more intimate wedding that exudes luxury then The Rainier Club might be the Seattle wedding venue for you !
