What to Expect For Your Engagement Session
Engagement shoots are the best way for us to get to know each other. We get to learn how you interact as a couple, what makes you comfortable, what angles suit you best, and how to best capture you for the big day ! Side bonus is that you get some beautiful portraits of you and your love to remember the day by. Some people use them on their wedding website or save the dates.
We help you plan out the location, the wardrobe and the time of day of your shoot. We can put you in touch with the best hair and makeup artists to get you feeling your best on your shoot day.
We remain completely flexible with weather. If your engagement sessions day approaches and we see rain in the forecast we will work with you to adjust your day or time accordingly.
During your shoot we give you lots of direction ! This helps you to feel comfortable so you don’t feel like you need to perform or be a professional model 🙂 We will get you moving. Walking, dancing, and doing things generally helps to get the most natural photos. We have many tricks up our sleeve for getting you to look like a pro in your photos. If we could count the number of times we have heard ” I am so awkward in photos” we would be rich. And if you need to bring some wine to your shoot, thats ok too ! These sessions typically last an hour and you get around 60 final images.
